In honor of these Olympics, the Shire of Crystal Crags is holding a day of games, challenges and festivities that will have a Scottish Games theme, with different challenges to prove your worthiness. The Scottish Games came about when England dominated Scotland and forbade the people to train with any combat items, and the Games gave people an opportunity to pit themselves against each other.

Your presence is requested at the tourney to determine the heirs to the Griffin Thrones. The tourney will be hosted by the Barony of Sentinels' Keep on the twelfth of April 2008.

Per Their Majesties wishes NO stabbing weapons will be permitted. This includes butt spikes and tips on spears or blocking weapons. Back spikes on axes are acceptable. The list will be a standard double elimination and the finals will be fought best two out of three with all previous deaths forgiven. Both the fighter and consort will be required to attend the tournament.

Join us to celebrate the Coronation of Aaron and Rustique! A full day of activities is planned, including the Coronation itself (Court at 11am), dancing on the 1800 square foot dance floor, a lunch table presented by Baron Petreus and Lady Maria Katharina, heavy weapons, fencing, youth combat, archery and thrown weapons tourneys (please note ALL martial activities will be outside, no matter the weather. Be prepared!). A wonderful Eastern European feast is being prepared by Lady Yllaria. The site is licensed, please no BYOB as per Ontario law. No open flames or pets, please. Feast and Merchant reservations and allergen inquiries will be accepted until April 18th.

The Barony of Fenix is proud to host The Spring Crown Tournament of the Middle Kingdom and the Kingdom Arts & Sciences Competition!

This will be held Memorial Day weekend at the Drawbridge Inn and Convention Center! This is a lovely site with reasonable room rates, restaurants, a tavern, a nightclub, and a lovely pool complex onsite.

Saturday will be a day of the best arts and sciences of our Kingdom on display for competition. There will be A&S roundtable discussions! There will be rapier combat! There will be a Scribal Meet-and-Greet!

Follow over the hill to Argus, where you turn right. The first right on Argus is the entrance to the park, and parking is at the entrance.
