The first Coronation to be held in the Crescent Isles, will be held on the banks of Lake Karapiro - the birthplace of champions, in the Canton of Cluain, Barony of Ildhafn.

On this weekend we will be commemorating the glorious reign of King Ædward Stadfæste
and Queen Yolande Kesteven.
We also celebrate the ascension of our new monarchs.
The Barony of Thescorre invites one and all to attend Pax Interruptus 30. This year we are pleased to also invite all to the Investiture of Eric and Katja, 6th Baron and Baroness of Thescorre!

We seek champions in all manner martial arts - youth heavy weapons, adult heavy weapons, archery, thrown weapons, and fencing. We seek champions to help rid our fair shire of the monsters and beasts that have beset us since we lost our beloved silver apple to the Atlantians (during the Seige of Glen Gary). This is an event that is designed to introduce people to the SCA. There will be a lot of beginner classes taught on what the Society is and how to play, basic tourneys for those who are just getting started in competition, and fun entertainment in the evening. But we encourage the "old timers" to come out as well - to help meet and teach newcomers, and to enjoy fun and feasting with old friends!
Join the Barony of Darkwood for our annual Arts and Sciences Tourney! We will have a full weekend of classes and workshops, a potluck dinner Saturday evening, the Bard of the Oaks Competition, and the first Oaken Chef competition.

We are at a NEW SITE this year! At Bolado Park in Tres Pinos, we will be camping at the Gate 4 campgrounds. This is across the street from Gate 2, where we usually enter and welcome our Barony population and visitors for our events.

Join us in bidding a fond farewell to our beloved Abd-al Mahdi Jamal ibn Hakim & Valeria Richila Navarro, as They step down from Their glorious reign. Then celebrate as the heirs take Their places as our new Stellar Crown.
Come and support the fighters as a new Champion for the King is chosen. The day will also include a Scribal competition and Charter Painting, Children's activities, a delicious feast and a post Coronation Revel and Hafla fit for royalty. Alcohol is BYOB n period containers.
In the name of Baron Jehan, all gentles are invited to attend the Archery and Thrown Weapons Competitions for the Barony of Carolingia on Sunday, July 9, 2006. During the day, the mighty archers and weapons throwers of Carolingia will compete to choose the best among them for the Baron's Champion.
