This is an event that is designed to introduce people to the SCA. There will be a lot of beginner classes taught on what the Society is and how to play, basic tourneys for those who are just getting started in competition, and fun entertainment in the evening. But we encourage the "old timers" to come out as well - to help meet and teach newcomers, and to enjoy fun and feasting with old friends!

The hunting horn sounds again, deer are getting ready to flee, hunters' calls can be heard from all sides. It is Hunting Season again! For the sixth year the shire of "Ad Flumen Caerulum" opens the hunting season and once more invites all archers to celebrate the begin of the hunt with us. The archery competition will be held on a beautiful field archery course in the alps south of Vienna. This gives an opportunity to test your archery skills by walking through beautiful woods, trying to find the targets, and hopefully hitting them.

Other activities over the weekend will include Arts and Sciences displays (including a Phred), Archery and Thrown Weapons, other marshallate activities, Bardic performances of all kinds, as well as the many meetings usually associated with a Coronation Event.

There brews a conflict in these lands between two noble barons, their excellencies Ulric and Thorvald which centers around ownership of a certain relic found by a team of Loch Salann prospectors secretly searching in the lands of Arrows Flight. These two fearsome barons give a call to WAR - to determine who by right of combat and skill in the gentle arts will be allowed to lay claim to this relic. Their Excellencies call upon their cousins from the North, the South, the East and the West to come to their aid in this great battle. In addition to melee combat for the relic, individual prize tourneys will be held in both heavy and rapier, as well as a boffer tourney for the youth.

There will be several different shoots and throwing challenges to suit all skill levels. Their Majesties Havordh and Mary-Grace wil be choosing their Live Weapons Champions, including a Youth Champion from those participating.
Good gentles summer will be upon us soon and thus Prince Dietrich and Princess Rosalyn welcome you to witness the selection of the heirs to the Coronets of Oertha. Their Highnesses have chosen "The Crusades in the Lavent" as the theme of this Coronet. The Crusades in the Lavent involved most of the Christian nations bordering the northern coastline of the Mediterranean. These regions changed dramatically with various small "kingdoms" emerging and then being overtaken in the eastern part of the Mediterranean, as Muslims societies pushed into Anatolia (modern Turkey) and confronted the Byzantine Empire.
Shake a turban feather and join the Shire of Stan Wyrm in the XXII tournament of the Dragon's Tear. We've chosen a themed event entitled The Battle for Jerusalem. We plan not only to hold the armored combat tournament but also some melee scenarios including the Battle for Water and the Quest for the Spear of Destiny. Their majesties will be with us to see the halftime show by Mst. Mirr and her ladies.

Come one, come all to the Shire of Blackwater Keep for the annual Arts & Sciences event on July 22-23 2006. Saturday will be filled with classes to beguile all minds, a savory feast, games aplently and a auction to finish the evening. Sunday will be filled with the practice of the Art of War and the Art of Archery where all good gentles can exercise their combat aptitudes. There will be an IKAC and possibility for Archery authorization.
The Barony of Lyondemere invites all good gentles to join us on July 22nd, 2006 (AS XL) as we celebrate our Baronial Anniversary and the investiture of our new Baron and Baroness. Join the Gnomes as they fight to thwart the invasion of Trolls into our sovereign lands! There will be hardsuit, rapier and archery scenarios, along with fine displays from our kingdom youth fighters. In addition, the Queen's Champion Equestrian Tournament will bring much competition to our fair lands.

His Majesty's army will gather in the forests of Stierbach to prepare for the Pennsic War.
