The Coronation of Christopher Rawlyns and Morgen of Rye will be held on September 16th in the Barony Marche of the Debatable Lands.
In addition to the Last Court of Malcolm and Tessa, and the Coronation and First Court of Christopher and Morgen, the day will include tournaments to select the new Rapier Champion and Youth Combat Champions, and a competition at which Christopher and Morgen will select their Arts and Sciences champion. There will also be children's activities and dancing during the day, as well as a backlog scroll display.

And to that end, they invite all valiant fighters to join in the Tournament at the Barriers for the honor of becoming the Baronial Champion at Arms. It is asked that those valiant fighters wear a crest upon their helms of most simple or most elegant faire.
Come and join us in the pageantry of our court, show your best black and gold if you wish or your best heraldic dress. It will be a relaxed day upon the field, pleasant conversations with friends old and new, working on or viewing of beautiful pieces of arts & sciences, lunch and a potluck and dinner.
The Outlands premier period combat collegium is returning for AS XLI. This year, by popular demand, we will be bringing back Puck and Mary Curtis to teach Spanish Rapier.
On the armored side we are bringing in Roger Siggs who will do a workshop on Intermediate Fiore. If you've attended a few basic Fiore classes and feel you've learned as much as you can from them, you NEED to be here.
Both fighting workshops will be all day long affaires (6 hrs of instruction) so you should come away overstuffed with new knowledge with which to improve your fighting prowess.

Our event is a celebration of the way of the Romani life. Your goal at this event is to gain as much luck as you can by following the Romani way. Upon your arrival at the event, you will be given a token bag with beads. These beads symbolize good luck, but like all the Romani you must guard your luck carefully. A small group of Romani will be wandering the site. If you commit an act of bad luck, you will be asked to turn over one bead. If you are spotted doing something that will gain you luck, you may be given a bead. So pay attention!
A friendly reminder that Mistig Waetru will hold its 5th annual Revel by the Lake in the village of Baraga, in Michigan's beautiful Upper Peninsula, September 22-24. Come fight, fence, dance, sing, or just relax under the pines and enjoy the glorious fall foliage!

In celebration of this glorious event there will be a tournament in the style of the Masters of Defence. Combatants will fight in five forms each of both heavy and rapier. The five forms for the heavy list will include Weapon and Shield, Greatsword, Polearm, Double Weapon, Single Sword. The Barony of Caerthe will be hosting its Fortress Benefit event this Saturday the 23rd of September in Aurora Co. The event is called the Fortress Defender and will include a full day of heavy fighting, fencing and archery as well as the traditional Fortress benefit auction/raffle. The day will be packed with scenarios, including battles to control the castle that will be constructed. Other details are included below in the flyer for the event.

Our event is a celebration of the way of the Romani life. Your goal at this event is to gain as much luck as you can by following the Romani way. Upon your arrival at the event, you will be given a token bag with beads. These beads symbolize good luck, but like all the Romani you must guard your luck carefully. A small group of Romani will be wandering the site. If you commit an act of bad luck, you will be asked to turn over one bead. If you are spotted doing something that will gain you luck, you may be given a bead. So pay attention!
