Feast: “The Marriage of Henry VIII & Catherine of Aragon” combining sumptuous dishes of 16th century England and Spain. During the feast we will hold our annual contest for the Bard of Silver Hammer. Please prepare an original filk to participate. Planned Activities Include: Tourney of the Silver Hammer (Heavy), Rapier Tourney, with War Practice to follow. There will also be an A&S Competition, Children & Youth Activities, Live Weapons, Games, and Dancing as well as drumming by the fire.

Graywood has changed sites and has had the joy of designing one tailored to your needs with shaded camping, plenty of room on the list fields, stalls and ready water for the horses, showers for you, and a stone fire pit for evening enjoyment. The site is still semi-primitive but with limited electricity and multiple water sources.
The Shire of Montevale invites you to make the long trek through the colorful Autumn forests and across the mountains to reach the furthest south and west corner of the Kingdom of the East and help us as we prepare for another Winter.
Event Focus: The winter snows will soon be blowing across our land, and our classes this year are focused on those things which pertain to preparing a medieval keep for the winter months.
Panhandle Skirmishes A.S. XLI: The Quest For Nobility!
...being a contest at arms between friendly neighbors, Trimaris and Meridies, to "dispute" borderlands... This year, follow in a Quest for Nobility by competing in heavy armor melees, rapier combat, games, dance, chess tournament, arching at the butts, an Heraldry challenge and many other activities of Noble pursuit.

Join us in our yearly plague theme event and help us celebrate the persona wedding of The Honorable Lord John of Widcombe and Baroness Anna Genevieve of Ancyra. If you have not been to this site before you will be pleased. It rates 4 Stars on Celestine's site satisfaction scale. Rooms have only 2 bunk beds and are climate controlled for each room. Dorms have ample showers, toilets, coin laundry, fireplace and are scrupulously clean. Bring your own firewood. At the last event they also had a TV, refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. Parking while convenient to the dorms, can be a little tight. You may want to save some gas and ride with a friend. BBQ grills, outdoor tables and fire rings are available.
This October 20-22 the Barony of the Sacred Stone will be hosting the War of the Wings against the Barony of Windmasters Hill. It will be held at Elchenburg Castle in the beautiful hills of Elkin, North Carolina. Come witness and participate in the glorious battles. Enjoy tales, songs, dancing and good company. There will be castle battles, woods battles, grand melees and torchlight tournaments for both heavy and rapier.

Our event autocrated by the talented Liam MacanTsaoir is themed on the battle of Agincourt that was fought in northern France as part of the Hundred Years' War. The battle was fought on a rainy day, the feast day of Saint Crispin, in 1415 between the English and Welsh army of King Henry V and the French army of King Charles VI.

On behalf of our Industrious Shire of Hartstone wish to invite one and all to join us for our annual "Hunter’s Moon" on October 21. Our site this year is the Wellsville Elementary School, 98 School Street, Wellsville, NY 14895, some may remember the site from last fall, when we were honored to host Crown Tournament there last year. The site will open from 9 am to 9 pm.
Among the activities planned for the day include an opportunity for instruction from the Order of the Chivalry, as we are honored to carry on the "Gold Chain" Series. For those who prefer the gentler arts, a regional scriptorium is being planned.

The Beauteous Baroness Bianca doth invite the Populace of Her Fair Barony, and any others interested and willing, to attend Her Arts and Sciences Competition and Collegium.
The learning and other festivities will take place on the 21st day of October in the city of Ogden. There will be lots of classes, including a fighting class track, and an A&S competition to choose the Baronial Champion. There will also be a fabulous fundraiser lunch. Come have hot and hearty soup prepared with love by the goode cookes in our Barony and contribute to the Baronial Pavilion fund. If you would like to donate a period dish for the lunch AND enter it in the A&S, that is an option but not a requirement for the dish. Donations are greatly appreciated.
On Oct. 31, A.S. XX, the branch called Sentinels’ Keep was founded, in the Region of Artemisia. Since then we have grown, from incipient Shire to Barony. Many of our founding folk have wandered away, but many more have come to take their places. Now Sentinels’ Keep invites her many friends from near and far to help us celebrate 20 years of our existence, on October 21. (This year we’re half as old as the Society!)
