The Shire of Nithgaard will host its fourth annual textile symposium on the weekend of November 10-12 (a week earlier than usual), at the Sieg Conference Center located on Narrows Road in Lamar, PA (no street address). Saturday the 11th will be a day of classes and workshops devoted to fabric, string, and their glorious arts. Melee and tournament combat engagements in a medieval style will be organized by Thorvaaldr Frirsverth. The site opens at 2PM on Friday, and closes at 1PM on Sunday.

groundsmen, getting riders authorized and getting Marshals-in-Training
trained. It is our sincerest hope that we have candidates for all three

Oyez, Oyez! Unto the Populace of the Kingdom of Caid does the Shire of Heatherwyne send greetings!!! We beg your indulgence to allow us to remind you that there are only 54 shopping days left until Yule and only 15 more days until Medieval Marketplace this Kingdom's newest excuse to SHOP 'TIL YOU DROP and FIGHT 'TIL YOU FLOP..brought to you by your very own local group of fighting and shopping enablers, the Shire of Heatherwyne. This year Medieval Marketplace will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2007 at beautiful Kun's Park in La Verne.
Warriors of Artemisia! In preparation of our invasion of the Kingdom of Atenveldt, His Majesty has commanded all his Warriors to make ready their arms and armor, and hone
their skills for battle! Therefore on the 25th of November, in the Shire of Cote Du Ciel, there will be held a War practice. All fighters who can attend are strongly encouraged to obey his Majesty's command. Bring spear, sword, scutum and crossbow (yes, we will attempt to practice Combat Archery as well!).
The Shire of Gleann Medonach would like to invite you once again to Julklapp! There will be much to do. Lord Lance with be hosting the Defender Tourney for heavies. Lady Michaela will be hosting the Defender for lights. Mistress Bennet will be hosting the Defender for Arts and Sciences. Baron Ben will be planning archery activities as well. A prize will be given for each as well as for the best Viking outfit. There will be an afternoon children’s activity and court dancing in the evening. Needless to say there will be something for everyone!!

celebration of Rising Waters Baronial Birthday Bash with a grand masked ball!
Many enjoyable activities have been planned for this daylong event to cover most tastes including heavy weapons, youth combat & rapier tournaments. Children's activities are planned and a lunch table will be provided by Circle Redhaven at a minimal fee. Archery and thrown weapons will be present weather and marshal dependent. In addition there will be a penny raffle and since this is a “masked ball” dancing space will be available after feast. It is the autocrats wish that individuals attending this event do so wearing a mask of some type as there will be prizes given for best original, best colourful and best youth masks.

Come, the populous of Calontir and help to settle this deep rooted Scottish feud between the Clan Davidson and the Clan Macpherson. This Feud has gone on long enough! We will need both Lords and Ladies alike to help us come to a decision.
We send good tidings! This missive to invite all to join us for our annual Yule Revel and Arts and Science Championship on December 2 2006.
We will be having the Shires Arts and Science Championship and is open to all. Our Arts and Science Minister Marco dei Caprioli will be running the championship again this year along with his new Deputy, Lady Cassandra. . If you have any question you can contact him at marcocaprioli@yahoo.com. Kingdom Rules apply. Winner of the competition will wear the Shire Arts and Science Cape for the up and coming year. The will also be as beginner category for people who have never entered an A&S competition, this is a place for the beginner to get their feet wet in A&S competition.
We invite you to celebrate the holiday season with us at our Jingles Feast. Come and enjoy fantastic food prepared by Master Fionn Mac Pháil. Games and classes will be offered from noon until the start of the feast. Competitions include "Best use of Bells", "Best Table Decoration", and of course "The Silver Tongued Devil". We will also have our famous silent auction with many wonderful items to bid on.

Yule, the feast of light! Once again we will celebrate the return of the sun. This year's feast will include games, dancing, and A&S classes. Don't have a mask for the 12th Night Masquerade Ball yet? Come make one with us. After dinner there will be a White Elephant trade. Please bring a wrapped toy as well as one wrapped gift for every member of your party. (We will be donating any extra toys to Toys for Tots.)
Once again the Shire of Windkeep will be holding a winter fun and feast. Please come and join us on the 2nd of December from 12 noon to 10:30 pm as we celebrate the coming of another wonderful yule season. We will holding a cribbage tourney that will run throughout the day with a handmade cribbage set (made by His Grace Olaf) as the prize. We will also be holding the second annual Chivalry card game tournament. As if this weren't enough, we will cap off the evening with a feast prepared by Mistress
Winter has come to Winter's Gate and it is time to celebrate Yule, with the fun merriment and good company. There will be the traditional Winter's Gate gift exchange. The feast is potluck so bring a yummy dish to warm our bellies. The competitions will be warm beverages to fight the cold winter's night (note site is DRY), also warm winter attire to ward off Ye Old Man Winter (Full outfits, cloaks and accessories). There will also be games and singing. Hope to see you all there.
Celebrate Yule with a day of games, entertainment, and food. We will provide the meat for the feast and the rest will be potluck-style. Using your mundane last name: A-G, salads or soups; H-N, side dish; O-Z, desserts. There is no main theme, so just share your favorite Medieval delight. There will be competitions of Best Decorated Table,
