(event) Siege Engine Tourney Start: 15:00 End: 15:00 description: The call has gone out far and wide; bring all your BIG toys to see who can shoot the furthest, the most accurately and make the most destruction! Come and take part in the Incipient Shire of Radburne’s first siege engine tourney! This is a camping event with tourney and feast! The site will open Friday to Sunday. Friday night will be a soup kitchen, breakfast and lunch will be provided Saturday and Sunday and don’t forget Location: Incipient Shire of Radburne (Wellington, New South Wales) 462 reads (event) Living History Conference and Trade Show Start: 16:00 End: 20:00 description: The Historic Military Establishment of Upper Canada is proud to announce that after a one year hiatus the Living History Conference and Trade Show will be returning to the Doubletree International Plaza Hotel in Toronto, Ontario on March 2nd and 3rd 2007. The schedule is similar to the 2005 conference with a pub social on Friday night including period music, period games, a history trivia contest as well as a great evening to reacquaint yourself with old and hopefully meet some new friends. Saturday will feature our key note speaker Rick Green and 20 seminars to choose from being led by your fellow friends and peers on various historical topics covering times periods from the French & Indian War to World War I.
