The Barony March of Mons Tonitrus is hosting its annual Barmaids event at the Lower Garden Canyon site on Ft. Huachuca. Trees, shade, babbling brooks (maybe) and competitions with prizes are available for all! Click here for a small collection of site photos.
Saturday morning will see Opening Court at 9:00 followed by armor inspection. Prizes will be contested in both Armored and Rapier scenarios "in the tavern" as well as weird weapons (Rapier and Armored) and of course The Barmaid competition! Following the conclusion of the tavern tourneys we will begin the "Boar Hunt" in the forest for those armored fighters who just can’t get enough stick time. Saturday late afternoon will also see a Siege Engine accuracy competition. As the sun sets we’re expecting the Siege Engineers to continue with a "fire in the sky" display. (Of course no 'real' fire will be allowed for this show.) 'Ducats' will be provided to each attendee at troll. A gaming tent with all period games will be run by RogueHaven as one way to win (or lose) ducats. Other opportunities to earn them will also be available. Both the adult and youth who collect the most ducats during the event will be awarded prizes at closing court on Sunday.

They want our breeding cattle and sheep! We say NO! and call for all our friends and neighbors to help up defend MacGregor's farm in the well-loved tradition of the TOURNEY OF THE GOLDEN MOON! The Barony of Hawkwood is celebrating its third birthday and all are invited to join us for a weekend of fun and frolic and fighting!
Shake off the doldrums of the winter past as once again, the Armies of the East rally to prepare for War! Come, all soldiers, to the fields of Owlsherst to hone our armies' battle skills. Additional combat activities include a torchlit Tourney on Friday evening, and a cash prize tourney on Sunday morning. Fencing and archery activities are also planned for both Saturday and Sunday.

The St. Anne's Costumers Guild and the Barony of Black Diamond are proud to host the St. Anne's Guild Costumers Symposium in Charlottesville, VA. There will be classes all day for the beginner, intermediate, and advanced costumer, ranging from Roman to Elizabethan, undergarments to outergarments, children's garb to fighter's kit. For those with questions about SCA period clothing, a consultation table will be available. University credits will be given to students and teachers attending these classes.

Greetings! Please find below the list of classes for the upcoming "A Temperance of Cooks" - Calontir Cook's Guild Symposium, April 28, 2007, in the Barony of Forgotten Sea. It will be an all-day event, with multiple tracks of classes, a potluck feast, and a lunch-time keynote speech provided by Duke Cariadoc of the Bow. A source of warmth and light to those around him during his lifetime, and especially at the end of it, Saint Pyre's feast day is celebrated with mirth, merriment, and a distinct lack of seriousness.
The day's activities will include a heavy tournament, the traditional carrot-nosed melee, in which one lives only so long as one's carrot remains intact, a jovial round of light-hearted rapier activities, an A&S competition, and dancing.

We encourage everyone to bring anyone who is relatively new or someone who is coming back after a sabbatical from the SCA. Join the Shire of Hrafnafjörðr (Ravensfjord) as we host our Spring Collegium. Hot beverages will be provided. This is a wet site with drinks that can be bought in the bar through your Autocrat, and her assistant. No one else is allowed in the bar to buy drinks or hangout. No liquor is allowed to be brought from the outside into the building. We will be having a finger food pot luck that will be held through the whole Collegium. We will be ending the evening with a Bardic Practice so, please bring your song books and instruments to join in.

Hear Ye, Hear Ye all Gentles, Lords and Ladies of the Southern Outlands. Just when it was thought that the Shire of Nahrun Kabirun was asleep it springs back, in the Spring no less, like the Phoenix, to host a grand fighter practice in the form of a Martial Collegium!

The various Weasel events are 3 part competitions to find the best all around warrior in Heavy Armored Combat (Iron Weasel), Rapier Combat (Wire Weasel), or Youth Boffer (Weasel Pup). Each competitor will compete in a fighting tournament, archery competition and dance competition, ALL in full gear!

The Shire of Sterlynge Vayle welcomes all to Crown Tournament held at Camp Amahami (a Girl Scout camp), Page Pond Road (no street number), Deposit, New York 13754, on May 4-6 2007. Gates will open at 6 pm on Friday and close at noon on Sunday. There are not a lot of nearby hotels or restaurants, but there is a *lot* of room for camping, and GS tents with cots in them will be *all over* the place. There is one hill, but the site is otherwise handicapped accessible.

Greetings warriors of Northern Atlantia, there will be a Northern Regional War Practice on Sunday May 6th within the Barony of Storvik. Our fighting cousins, Galicia, have extended an invitation for us to join them for a day of melee. Let us honor them by giving them a great fight and many stories to share at the Pennsic campfire.
The simple plan for the day is melee, melee, melee.
Pickups start at 10 am, with Melees to start at 11am.
Gentles of the known world, you are once more invited to the fair shire of Attemark to join another Double Wars, one that will be marked in the history of our Kingdom - Double Wars XX. This year's highlights will be many, and we will all do our best to bring the Dream to life. We will spend time having classes in the form of a mini University. We will have fighting classes, tourneys of classic and yet a set of more period fighting forms with Pas D´Armes and two grand battles; Magna Carta war and the Knäckebröd war. Archery, fencing and dancing will as always be a part of the event.

This is an all-children's event. All activities are for children, or are in support of children. There will be Youth Combat, Youth Archery, Youth Thrown Weapons, and Youth Rapier (pending the final OK on the rules). There will be a Youth A&S competition. I am trying to work out space for lots of classes and activities. If there is need for support classes (i.e. classes for training of Ministers of Minors, training Youth Marshals, Page Academy, etc) I will try to supply space.
Please join us for a full day of epic battles and arts. Tournaments will be held for Heavy Weapons, Youth Combat, Archery, Thrown Weapons and Fencing. List table is open at 10am – 11:30 am; Inspections will start at 10am sharp. All tournaments will commence after procession. There will be no authorizations due to the prestigious nature of the event. No mundane items visible with armor. The Sarnac Memorial Youth Combat Tournament will be a must see, as our youth combat in memory of our dear friend. Who would have thought that 10 years ago this small (only 600 people showed up) event would grow to be the amazing event that it is today. Over the years we have weathered some of the worst that North West Ohio in May can throw at you. It has been hot (in the early years it was) and cold (down to 38°F) and windy (we had a tornado touch down within 2 miles of the site once) and wet. But mostly it has been wet. Every year we have prayed for sunny, warm and dry weather, but every year the weather just laughs at us and sits a low pressure zone overhead.
