Gentles of the known world, you are once more invited to the fair shire of Attemark to join another Double Wars, one that will be marked in the history of our Kingdom - Double Wars XX. This year's highlights will be many, and we will all do our best to bring the Dream to life. We will spend time having classes in the form of a mini University. We will have fighting classes, tourneys of classic and yet a set of more period fighting forms with Pas D´Armes and two grand battles; Magna Carta war and the Knäckebröd war. Archery, fencing and dancing will as always be a part of the event.
Princes to act, monarchs to behold the swelling scene! Imagine, a grand field, surrounded by the pavilions of the greatest nobles of the realm. Pennants snap in the breeze as the heralds call gracious ladies clad in the finest of velvets and brocades to bear witness to the swirling clash of arms!
A glorious day indeed! Harken now to the hall, lanterns and candles throwing soft light on the many banners. The steward ushers the servers forward, their tray piled high with the finest produce and game in the Kingdom.
The Shire of Crystal Crags cordially invites you to come celebrate the survival of winter and the coming of spring as we host a weekend of fun games and merriment as we transform Castle Silver Oak into a medieval Carnivale.
Our entire Shire is stepping up to offer many different games and competitions:
Sponge catapults, darts, human chess and checkers, roving rapier, dice and card games, ring toss, coin toss, archery, chariot boffer jousting, caber toss for adults and smalls, boffer fighting, stone throw, and oh so many more!

Who would have thought that 10 years ago this small (only 600 people showed up) event would grow to be the amazing event that it is today. Over the years we have weathered some of the worst that North West Ohio in May can throw at you. It has been hot (in the early years it was) and cold (down to 38°F) and windy (we had a tornado touch down within 2 miles of the site once) and wet. But mostly it has been wet. Every year we have prayed for sunny, warm and dry weather, but every year the weather just laughs at us and sits a low pressure zone overhead.
Lords and Ladies, we invite you to join the Shire of Talmere in quickening the Spring with feasts of skill and bravery, romance and roguery, style and grace. So returns the Lusty Month of May! Come to watch the fighting, take a class or to enjoy the late spring with friends and family. Cooks of all experience levels are invited to participate in the Cast Iron Chef competition. Artisians are invited to compete in the A&S competition. We hope you will stay for a fabulous "Life is Short, Eat Dessert First" themed feast, and a Maypole dance, teen revel and European revel and hafla following feast.
