Fort Gaines is a Civil War Fortress situated on the sandy white beaches of the Gulf. Legend has it that Prince Madoc of Wales landed here in 1171. Now the site will be remembered as the Coronation site of Maximillian and Lethrenn!
Site opens at 4pm Friday. There are no beds at this site, but there is crash space for 100 inside the fort. Period tents are allowed within the fort, nonperiod tents are allowed outside the walls on the grass. There is NO electricity. Shower facilities are across the street at the mundane campground(your shower ticket is included in the site cost). If you want to stay in the campground, call (251) 861-2742 for reservations. Military personnel might try renting a cottage at the Coast Guard Recreation Center.
The Shire of Swordcliff will be holding Dragonslake II. It will be a day of
questing and fighting in honor of our Champion the Great Gailen for saving
our dragon from the Dragon Slayer that came from the Eastern Kingdom. There
will be a quest for heavy, light, non fighters and children so that all may
participate in his honor. We had a fantastic time last year and hope this

After the TOC we will be holding our Traditional Tavern Brawl, in which combatants bring unusual and humorous duct tape foam weapons. Children are encouraged to create their own foam projectiles during children's activities and add to the festivities by targeting their favorite fighter.

Therefore we will hold the coronet tournament of the Palatine Barony of the Far West at noon of the 15th day of September AS XLII at Tama Hills, Tokyo, Japan.

The Shire of Quintavia, in partnership with our neighboring Baronies of
Glory comes to he that joins his cause with others. To this end do we call the Honorable Knights of our Great Kingdom of Atlantia to come and lead groups of armored combatants upon the battlefield in a melee tournament for Glory. All fighters bring your swords, your spears, and maces and join the ranks of a team to fight for victory and a common cause.
Come All ye seekers of Glory for there will be competitions enough to go around. Along with the armored team tournament, Rapier fighters may try your swords in group combat in a castle battle. If your heart does not lie with a sword, then arm yourselves with your skills instead. Archers find your target true and earn your own glory. Artists, use your talents to glorify your arms within your artwork. Bards sing from your heart a song of glory or recite your tale of glory to earn your meal at the Victor's Tavern.
Insurrection is the first event to be held in the Tooele, Utah area in a very long time if not ever. You can look forward to 9 acres of a well maintained park with a very large building for indoor activities.

Back when the armoured knight reigned supreme, there lived folk on the fringes of Western Europe. These folk were considered "Barbarians" by the more "civilized" kingdoms of Europe. As the warmer months of summer and fall gave way at last to the frigid rains, and deep snow, these warriors would gather one last time before the final death of fair weather. So join us as we gather for one last fight at BARBARIAN BASH XII as we, the members of the Shire of Crystal Crags once again come together to show our fighting prowess and compete for our next Shire heavy champion.
Alas, our oriental soothsayers (who are never wrong) predict that our fair Palatine Baroness Katherine’s coronet will be lost by 15 September AS XLII (CE 2007). Therefore we will hold the coronet tournament of the Palatine Barony of the Far West at noon of the 15th day of September AS XLII at Tama Hills, Tokyo, Japan.
The site will open at 1800 14 Sep and close at noon on 16 September. Troll is $20 for adults and $10 for children. Child care is available for $10 per child. The feast fee is $20 for four meals ($5 per meal, breakfast, lunch, dinner and breakfast). Non-military personal will have to show a valid picture ID card or passport at the gate. Please email the autocrat for a map to find Tama Hills if you are not familiar with its location. Military personnel can obtain the map from their local MWR travel facility.

horseradish in the knowne world.
Fighting:
We are planning on open field battles and tournaments for heavy and light
combatants, archery and an A&S competition.
In the evening we will of course have our well-known and beloved torch lit
As the current champions of al-Barran have given much of their time and blood to defend this great barony and its people, it is time to allow such battle-hardened veterans to retire with honor. Let new champions rise to see to the defense of our great Baron and Baroness and the populace! Their Excellencies invite one and all to Champions of al-Barran!

From Tavern Yard to Tourney Field, to a feast fit for kings; Stroll through time in the Courtyard Faire, where children's laughter rings; Where merchants fine display proud wares, the Craftsmen build and the Jongleur sings; 'Round the campfire, or in the Hall, we'll listen to stories told Of Ages past and distant lands, of Heroes strong and bold.
The Shire of Quintavia, in partnership with our neighboring Baronies of
Glory comes to he that joins his cause with others. To this end do we call the Honorable Knights of our Great Kingdom of Atlantia to come and lead groups of armored combatants upon the battlefield in a melee tournament for Glory. All fighters bring your swords, your spears, and maces and join the ranks of a team to fight for victory and a common cause.
Come All ye seekers of Glory for there will be competitions enough to go around. Along with the armored team tournament, Rapier fighters may try your swords in group combat in a castle battle. If your heart does not lie with a sword, then arm yourselves with your skills instead. Archers find your target true and earn your own glory. Artists, use your talents to glorify your arms within your artwork. Bards sing from your heart a song of glory or recite your tale of glory to earn your meal at the Victor's Tavern.
Insurrection is the first event to be held in the Tooele, Utah area in a very long time if not ever. You can look forward to 9 acres of a well maintained park with a very large building for indoor activities.
Activities include:
WAR games: we will have a Torch Light tourney and Melee combat.
Rapier: A Tourney and Melee
Archery: Prime shooting world class archers
A&S Display: Bring your work and get some useful critiques.
Welcome one and all for ALL the fighting you can stand! Fight those elusive Knights you've heard about but haven't met. Show them how well you handle your sword, and learn well how to take a hit. Armor inspection starts at 8:45 am and ends at 9:45 am sharp. There will be a squire and men-at-arms list, double elimination. LIST STARTS AT 10:15
Afterwards there will be a training session with the Knights and fighters- one on one until you are too tired to do anything but sit down to a good feast and relax. Speaking of feasts...come enjoy a fighters meal! With enough grub to give you a belly full!
