The burgeoning Shire of Arrows' Flight will host Crown Tourney on October 13, 2007, at the beautiful and renowned Castle Amphitheater at the Utah State Hospital.
If you wish to compete in Crown Tourney, letters of intent must be sent to HRH Gareth no later than September 15 (hard copies please). Please include a letter of intent and an entrant form (available on the kingdom website). Their Highnesses have also requested that each entrant and consort have a heraldic banner to display their device during the tourney.
Harvest time is upon us in the beautiful (and windy!) northwest of Atenveldt, and we are all busy gathering in our grains and fruits before the cold winds of winter come. Four local Lords are feuding over the right to harvest one particular field for its rich crop of grain.
As these Lords are unable to decide who has the legal right to
harvest the field, they've decided to settle this the proper way.
The leaves are falling, the air is getting colder; soon the Gates of Winter

This year the Collegium will be held at Tretower Court, a Tudor manor house in South Wales. Cadw, the Welsh heritage organisation, is kindly allowing us to use the period kitchen in the Court, so there will be period cooking throughout the day.
The nights draw in, and across the land gentles prepare for the long nights ahead when they will work on the arts of peace. Seeking the inspiration and knowledge of the elves, masters of all of the arts and sciences, the people tempt them from Elf-land with dancing and music.
The Shire of Klakavirki invites you to join us at Álfadans, an A&S-focussed event to be held on October 19th-21st at a "summerhouse" in Varmahlíð. We promise you A&S classes, competitions, a feast to please the elves, and our own hot tub.

One stormy afternoon amidst hail the size of boulders, a tradition was born. Help us return to our roots and celebrate the founding of our Shire. Twenty years ago our foundation was poured, join us as we celebrate our signature event, Unchained Doom 20. Join us as we gather our founders, the Roll of the Legion of Doom, and all those who wish to be a part of history for a weekend of fighting, feasting and friendship.

Our event autocrated by the talented Lord Liam MacanTsaoir is themed on the battle of Agincourt that was fought in northern France as part of the Hundred Years' War. The battle was fought on a rainy day, the feast day of Saint Crispin, in 1415 between the English and Welsh army of King Henry V and the French army of King Charles VI.
Barony Marche of the Debatable Lands (Dorseyville, Pennsylvania)
The Great All-Father Odin gladly sacrificed an eye for a drink from Mimir's well of wisdom, and was thereby granted knowledge of the Runes. You too, will want to give up an eye (or at least an eyetooth!) for the chance to drink from the Well on October 20th in the bountiful lands of the Mountain Freehold.
Mimir's Well will be held at the Warren Elementary School in Warren, Vermont (technically in the Shire of Panthervale, but they are graciously allowing us to host this event there). The site is dry and no open flames are allowed.
The College of Tor Aerie is hosting Otsukimi, a Japanese Moon Viewing Festival, set in the Sengoku Era (1467-1573). Come learn about Medieval Japan, enjoy activities and food.

It is that time again. Lady Autumn has returned to hold the peace between Lady Summer and Lady Winter. However, everyone knows that the seasons must change - it is just a matter of when. The Stronghold of Nebelwald invites you to join us as we prepare for the battle that will determine how much longer summer will last.
This seasonally-themed event should find something for everyone - use your wits, might, and/or creativity to earn points for your season. Participants can earn points by taking part in the Mythical Quest, Best Seasonal Recipe, Bardic Competition, and Most Seasonal Mask, as well as a variety of seasonally-themed heavy and light tourneys. There will be a chance to take part in classes, display A&S projects, and/or simply enjoy visiting with friends. Archery and other live weapon competitions will be held Saturday if the wind cooperates (Autocrats’ discretion). Youth class, Tourney, and Melee in the Fort! Saturday, Armor inspection is at 8am; fighting starts at 9am. We have several interesting classes on the schedule for the non-fighters.
