The Barbary Pirates under the leadership of the most dreaded Barbarossa Brothers are advancing into the heart of the Mediterranean Sea. Loyal citizens of the Trimarian Crown are being oppressed and attacked. The sea passage is no longer safe, and heralds are being sold into slavery!
As the knights of Rhodes rally the subjects of the Trimarian Crown to defend the lands and the seas, the Barbarossa Brothers did not rest on their Laurels [the ones they kidnapped, that is) and have been recruiting many more scurvy dogs to fill their ranks. The final battle is near! Battle with the knights and the pirates and lead one to supremacy over the Mediterranean Sea!
In November XLII a tourney shall be fought, and from among the combatants a victor shall be sought. So hotly contested shall this tourney be. Service is the prize above all, for which they fight. To shoulder a burden held by many before.
Soon it will be time to bid farewell, to those who service we have known so well.

We have procured a most marvelous hall for feasting, meetings, courts and dancing! Bring your best garb and revel in our sun-filled atrium! The hall opens at 9 am and closes at 9:30 pm. This is a discretely damp site (period containers please), and enclosed flame is allowed. The site is fully handicapped accessible and there is adequate parking for all vehicles. A bounteous lunch is included with the site

We look forward to welcoming you to the Winter Darkwood Archery Tourney, held this year at the Machado School in Morgan Hill. We will be running the Royal Rounds as usual, with submissions going towards IKAC ranking. Marshals and time permitting, we shall also be holding a variety of other shoots. The Shire of Plattefordham will be holding our 12th night (conveniently) on the 12th of January at St Stephan's Church, 4700 S. Poplar St, Casper WY 82601.
Site opens at 10AM and closes at 10PM and is very dry. Site fee for
adults is $7 and $7 for feast, as well. Child (10 and under) site is
free, $3 feast fee for children 5-10. A $3 NMS applies to all adult
