The Prince and Princess of Tir Righ, Owain and Wrenn hold a grand tournament to choose Their Successors to the Storm Thrones. This event held in the Barony of Seagirt will also see the changeover of the Baron and Baroness of Seagirt as James and Tangwystl step down after over 4 years. HL Ming Lum Pee and HL Elina Karsdottir ascend the Baronial seat.

Louise IX of France has died before Edward I of England could join his Crusade, so Edward has launched his own ninth Crusade into the Holy Land himself. In a time when the Crusades were drawing to an end and the Holy Land was plagued with unrest, an opportunity of peace and great celebration has come again to our Kingdom. Atlantia calls home all those who are able to answer, be they Crusader, warrior, artisan, laborer or supporter. Let it resound throughout the Lands to come to the Barony of Hawkwood to witness the Royal Coronation of Sir Sinclair Hawkins and Baroness Kari Kyst.

Since 1990, the Kitchener-Waterloo branch (Bryniau Tywynnog) of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) has presented a day of classes exemplifying the best of the Middle Ages. Over the years, several other groups such as the Dark Ages Recreation Company, Regia, and AEMMA have joined the SCA in making this an exciting and educational event. FITP is a non-profit event with any profit going to the local chapter of the SCA (a non-profit group). The local chapter also covers the losses in the years where FITP loses money.

RIGHT ON TOP of Gotham!! All hands are needed to travel to Gotham--er, to travel to OSTGARDR-- to play the foole for the king's Tax Collectors, to disport themselves in foolish pastimes and games (including a Foolish Archery Shoot; it will be safe--we're fools, not idiots 8), to tell and hear foolish tales and songs, and to partake of a Foolish Feast in which nothing is as it appears.

All fighters and combat archers of these Sylvan Lands are called to the Barony-Marche of the Debatable Lands to besiege or defend the Castle! The year is 1404, and a brave English garrison defends Harlech castle from the assault of Welsh forces led by Owen Glendower.

Owen's victory allowed him to occupy Harlech as his base for the next 5 years, after which the English re-conquered this Edwardian stronghold. On April 5, 2008, the English shall once again defend Harlech against the Welsh attackers, and we shall see who triumphs this day.

Robin Netherton is an internationally known researcher and lecturer of medieval dress history and co-editor of the journal Medieval Clothing and Textiles. The day will include lectures on the 14th century European fitted dress ("cotehardie") and the Greenland gored gown, as well as three additional lectures to be announced.

Madoc ab Owain Geyned was possibly one the 13 children of Owain Gweyned, who died in 1170. During this time the children all waged war on each other to determine who would lead the people. Madoc and his brother, Rhirid, sailed from Llandrillo during this time. Where did they go?

The goal of the event is too have the seasoned fighters to fight the young youthful fighters; and also to celebrate the Birthday Viscountess Gwenllhain Rhiannon of Dragon Keep, MSCA, OP, and her first combat Authorization. Also the seasoned fighters will be fighting the young youthful fighters. Birthday Cake will be there.
