The Prince and Princess of Tir Righ, Owain and Wrenn hold a grand tournament to choose Their Successors to the Storm Thrones. This event held in the Barony of Seagirt will also see the changeover of the Baron and Baroness of Seagirt as James and Tangwystl step down after over 4 years. HL Ming Lum Pee and HL Elina Karsdottir ascend the Baronial seat.
An Tir, long known for great parties, A&S and some of the best one-on-one fighters around, is finally coming around to the rest of the Known Worlde in trying to actually train War Units.
They are holding a 4 day Intensive War Training Event called "Art of War"

Master John the Pell from The East/AEthelmearc, Sir Straum from Midrealm, Count Sir Balin from Caid and Mistress Isabeau and Master Joseph (the Event Stewards from Estrella War). Others to be added.

Members of the Archaeological Leather Group are frequently contacted by archaeologists who think they have uncovered a tannery site. Very often, the only evidence is a hole in the ground containing some pieces of leather. In order to increase knowledge and understanding of leather manufacturing techniques, the ALG is organising conference entitled Archaeological Leather Group Weekend Conference HAVE WE GOT A TANNERY?

Ms. Leed has given several talks and seminars on the topic of Renaissance and Elizabethan dress for various groups, and taught a six-week class on Elizabethan Dress at the CostumeClassroom.com.
Your presence is requested at the tourney to determine the heirs to the Griffin Thrones. The tourney will be hosted by the Barony of Sentinels' Keep on the twelfth of April 2008.
Per Their Majesties wishes NO stabbing weapons will be permitted. This includes butt spikes and tips on spears or blocking weapons. Back spikes on axes are acceptable. The list will be a standard double elimination and the finals will be fought best two out of three with all previous deaths forgiven. Both the fighter and consort will be required to attend the tournament.
