Saturday morning will see Opening Court at 9:00 followed by armor inspection. Prizes will be contested in both Armored and Rapier scenarios "in the tavern" as well as weird weapons (Rapier and Armored) and of course The Barmaid competition! Following the conclusion of the tavern tourneys we will begin the "Boar Hunt" in the forest for those armored fighters who just can’t get enough stick time. Saturday late afternoon will also see a Siege Engine accuracy demonstration. Come fire a bolt high into the sky for a small donation to the American Cancer Society.

Celebrate the four years of dedication that our Baron and Baroness, Guillaume and Rowen, have given to Hidden Mountain. Join us for the Hidden Mountain Hafla -- a grand middle eastern style party featuring middle eastern music and A&S. A sideboard of delicious food prepared by Hidden Mountain's youngest head cook, Amanda Rebellina will be served all day. A full day of activities is planned, including the Coronation itself (Court at 11am), dancing on the 1800 square foot dance floor, a lunch table presented by Baron Petreus and Lady Maria Katharina, heavy weapons, fencing, youth combat, archery and thrown weapons tourneys (please note ALL martial activities will be outside, no matter the weather. Be prepared!). A wonderful Eastern European feast is being prepared by Lady Yllaria. The site is licensed, please no BYOB as per Ontario law. No open flames or pets, please. The sweet siren call of Spring is upon us, and the Barony of Caer Galen requires the assistance of the Kingdom's budding lords and ladies to come to her aid in locating again the fabled Unicorn Horn. The event will take place at Boy Scout Camp Merz (5297 West Lake Road, Mayville NY 14757). Site opens on Friday, May 2nd at 6 PM and closes on Sunday, May 4th at noon. Any gentles still on site will be handed a broom and thanked for volunteering to help us clean up! Cabins with electricity are available, but the tent spaces are closer to the tournament field. Tournament pavillions to surround the list field are heartily welcomed! Please notify the steward if you need disabled-accessible facilities.

The King is coming! His Majesty Berengar of Nancy will be grace the barony with his presence at the Baronial Rapier Championship and New Year's Celebration.
Saturday will have rapier tourneys, dancing and a feast. The Arts and Sciences competition is for the finest dedication, salutation or lamentation, before, during or after a bout. The feast will be served especially for His Majesty from "To The King's Taste". Also, entertainment fit for a King!
This is truly an event with something for almost everyone. In honor of the Barony's long tradition of hosting quality educational specialty events (including Musicians' Day, Northshield Dance Seminar, Bardic Madness, To Play With Fire, War College, and Medieval Religions Symposium), there will be an educational collegium at the event.
There will also be tournaments for armored and rapier combatants, a dance ball in the afternoon (so it will not fall off the schedule), a delicious feast in the evening, and plenty of fun and fellowship.

At the behest of their Excellencies, fighters will meet on the chessboard of battle to support their most excellent Baronesses. Each move on the chessboard by the baronesses will be fought on the tourney field by their fighters.

The Champion Competition will be a minimum of 5 items and a maximum of 7 entries in 3 different grand categories. The score for all entries will be totaled and divided by the number of entries to give the "average" score. The artisan with the highest average score will be declared champion. All entries MUST have documentation to be judged in the competition. Further competition information will be posted on this website, or you may contact Baroness Casamira, the Kingdom Minister of Arts and Sciences, directly.

Saturday will have rapier tourneys, dancing and a feast. The Arts and Sciences competition is for the finest dedication, salutation or lamentation, before, during or after a bout. The feast will be served especially for His Majesty from "To The King's Taste". Also, entertainment fit for a King!
As the sun sets on the reign of our most gracious Aten Majesties, Eduard and Asa, a new sun raises on the reign of Their Heirs, Phelan and Amirah. Come all, to witness this honored occasion to be held on the banks of the Colorado River in Bullhead City at the Bullhead Community Park.
Sat. site opens at 10am with court starting at 11am. This will be an outside event but we will be under a very large Ramada. Please bring banners or anything else that may add to the atmosphere of this grand event. Site is discreetly wet. Pets allowed on leashes
