For Many years the Legendary Treasure of The Marseilles Pirates has eluded many an explorer. Finally the day has come and the key to finding the treasure has been discovered. Fighters arm yourselves for a MIGHTY QUEST!!!
Armored fighters and Rapier Fighters will work together; First, to Get into the Town to Discover the Treasure Map, then to determine what creatures they will be fighting and Traversing the ?Maze? to get to the Treasure. Finally the teams will face off against each other to battle out who will win the right to the Prize.
Will's Revenge is Back! We will be hosting Will's Revenge at Camp Karoondinha in Milmont, PA. We are planning Archery, Merchants, Archery, Feast, Archery, and more Archery! We're looking at Regular ranges, novice ranges, children's ranges, difficult ranges, night shoot, royal rounds, novelty shoots and a lake shoot. In addition, we're planning a thrown weapons event! An Atlatl range! (What's an Atlatl range?, come and find out!) We will start shooting Saturday morning and go until the range runners get tired! Then, we'll feast and do it again!

Robin in the greenwood is … and he wants us to join him. On May 10 we will return to the grounds of the Limerick Bowmen for a fair celebrating the flight of the arrow. (This year, no snow!)
Archery activities will include a roving range (including, we hope, a running deer), royal rounds, practice areas and novelty shoots.
We will also have thrown weapons and fencing.
There are both a hall and an outdoor shelter for those not shooting to gather to visit, game, or ply their crafts. Artisans are encouraged to bring projects to work on and share. (Bring tables and chairs). Merchants are most welcome (no charge above gate fees), with merchants of goods related to Archery, Thrown Weapons and the Fence given preference if space becomes an issue.

Join Their Excellencies and populace of Ered Sul in the refreshing mountains away from the searing heat of the valley to spend a day in games and activities for the whole family.
There will be hard suit and rapier competitions. A warrior auction will precede the combat so bring your coin purses and bid on your favorite champion. Prizes will be awarded to the sponsor whose warrior bests the day. Proceeds from the auction will go to support the "Higher Word," Ered Sul's Baronial newsletter. There will be dancing around the maypole to bring the world back to right again along with games and activities for all ages. What would an Ered Sulabration be without a bardic competition? This means that our guests will be invited to spend the night in Caer Draeth's spacious great hall. Bring your blankets, sleeping bags, or maybe a cot to sleep on. Sleeping areas will be communal but what the heck, that's what they did in the real Middle Ages.
The Shire of Western Keep (Brookings, SD) is holding Lusty Day in May in 2008.
Where: Fort Sisseton State Park (about 30 miles west of Sisseton, SD)
When: May 16-18 Costs: site fee is by donation; there is no entrance fee for the statepark this weekend
Feast: Saturday night $10/plate ($5 for youth and free for lapsitters)
Camping: primitive camping is $5/tent/night; electrical pads are stillavailable for $14/night;cabins sleep six and cost $40/night;*cabins and electrical pads are reserved through the park itself. In honor of these Olympics, the Shire of Crystal Crags is holding a day of games, challenges and festivities that will have a Scottish Games theme, with different challenges to prove your worthiness. The Scottish Games came about when England dominated Scotland and forbade the people to train with any combat items, and the Games gave people an opportunity to pit themselves against each other.
If you do anything with fiber, or want to learn, or just want to sit and
chat, come on over. Knitting, nalbinding, sprang, lucet braiding, finger
loop braiding, inkle weaving, tablet weaving, loom weaving, embroidery,
spinning, whatever.

This year we have added an extra day to the Potrero War experience. Gates will open at 10am Thursday for those who choose to spend an extra day with us and at 8am Friday for all other attendees. Attending Thursday will cost an additional $5 for adults and children over the age of 13, but only an additional $2 for children between the ages of 6-12. Children under the age of 5 continue to be guests of the Barony. There will be combat scenarios or tournaments on Friday.
On May 22-26, the Canton of Hawk’s Hollow bids welcome to summers warm return and beckons all to gather with them at the Crossroads, otherwise known as the Quint Valley Fairgrounds in Byers, CO. (a brisk 30 minute drive east of Denver). Travelers, who hear the Crossroads call, shall be treated to more carefully crafted, hand-tooled event excitement than ever before. Cantons will clash, dice will be cast, tournaments fought, battle scenarios and equestrian prowess wrought. Feasting, bardic and classes too. Listen and prepare, for the Crossroads are calling you!
