It is with great pleasure that I would hereby like to announce that Knights Crossing will be hosting a workshop on medieval pharmaceuticals and herbs on the weekend of May 30-June 1. Simona Valentini di Piero will be teaching how to make basic salves, essential oils and creams from primary source recipes; enjoy a walk through the fields and forest in which we will learn to identify various useful plants in their natural habitat. Learn about the equipment used and the primary sources that we have on this subject. There will be a small fee for materials and for food for the weekend, but dinner will be Potluck.
The Shire of Polderslot likes to invite you all to our Summer event.
The theme this year will be witchcraft and superstition. The site is in a beautiful spot in the woods, perfect for outdoor activities.
We will arrange a quest to look for witches and ghosts, so we need heavy weapon fighters, fencers, but also people who are able to do arts and sciences like for example music. However, it is recommended not to stay out in the woods after dark, for the locals swear the 'witte wieven' still roam at night...
Their Excellencies Cedric and Brighid invite you to join with their populace as the Barony of Dragon's Laire celebrates its 26th annual June Faire for a full weekend of festivities. War is a popular theme in the West ... today in the lands of Vinhold, The Mists and Cynagua meet in friendly combat to train their armies as the kingdom prepares to march north to meet our brothers in arms of An Tir in battle and then many follow their King and Queen to war at Pennsic. There are fighter practices in many areas, but in the Shire of Wolfscairn is an outstanding opportunity to hone and sharpen your warband skills. Yes ...once again...the Shire of Wolfscairn invites all to Duchess War... the best small war ever.
Come one, come all to the final rites of the Goddess Diana, the Ludi saeculares! These rites of Rome were four historic celebrations of pageantry, games, and sacrifices to close the six day celebration honoring the goddess Diana. In the days preceding this semi-centennial event, heralds were sent about to invite the people to a spectacle which no one had ever beheld, and which no one would ever behold again. Great sporting events and sacrifices took place in the Circus Flaminius to discourage evil deities from entering the city.
