Long ago in the Barony of St. Swithin's Bog, upon a section of land once called the Western Border, a tradition began known as Spring Thing at which the Barony and all her family and friends gathered to dispel the winter's cobwebs and celebrate the return of Spring! Join us this year for the 9th Annual Spring Thing Event hosted by the Canton of Westland Mor!
The Collegium will be hosted at Wagonmaster RV Park in Sanger, TX, off of
I35. This will be as period an event as we can hold so most classes will be
under the shade of pavilions.

The next scribal workshop will be held on Saturday June 14th from 11 am until 4 pm at my home in Hodges, SC. As usual, we will hold a workshop for the scribal arts.
Lucien will have fencing practice outside. This time we will also be hosting a SCA "Swap Meet". (Thanks to Bri and Marla who suggested this!) Bring out your unwanted or unneeded SCA gear, jewelry, pretty much anything and swap or sell it to a new home where it can get a new life! Finally, this is an Ordes weekend, so come prepared to enjoy the fare at our very own local English Pub. We attend in Garb, so pack accordingly!
The time has come for the Annual Dragonsspine Warlord and Champions competition! A day full of more fighting than you can hope to do (it is, we planned it that way). Heavy, Light, or Archery, whatever your interest is, we have it here.

The Shire of Quintavia and the Barony of Bergental are pleased to once again join efforts and talent to produce a quality event that will appeal to the young, the old, the new and the experienced by offering a wide program of martial activities, a sampling of evening entertainments, a lovely site, bounteous hospitality, and all the rough pleasantries of a traditional camping event.
HEAVY WEAPONS -- Come one, come all! Sommer Draw will host both spear and melee tournaments, featuring innovative as well as traditional formats, with prizes to be given out. Inspections and authorizations will begin promptly at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, with the tournaments starting around noon. Our site boasts fine fields for your favourite martial activity. The thundering hooves of the Mongolian Empire draw near! Join in their whirlwind of chaos to conquer the Knowne World. We invite you to display your prowess with bow and arrow, and plunder the day away. This will be a kingdom-level event to choose the new Kingdom of Atlantia Archery Champion.
It is a weekend-long event with archery, feasting, and a bardic circle.
The Championship will take place at the Baltimore Bowmen club. Enjoy Friday Night travellers’ fare to benefit the Bright Hills Youth Archery program. Saturday will include a continental breakfast, and there will be a dayboard provided to refuel between shoots. The day’s end will bring a sumptuous feast prepared by Duke Valharic, followed by a bardic circle to entertain and recount the day’s events: “No s*@#, there I was, just me and my yak . . .”
On June 20-22, AEthelmearc Spring Academy will be held at the Madison County Fairgrounds, Fairgrounds Road (no street number), Brookfield, NY 13314, in the Shire of Coppertree. This site is approximately 25 miles due south of Utica, NY.

This tournament is to be held on the ground of their forefathers, the Field of Lilies, and is to consist of all manner of pageantry, display and entertainment for all who might attend.
The Shire of Quintavia and the Barony of Bergental are pleased to once again join efforts and talent to produce a quality event that will appeal to the young, the old, the new and the experienced by offering a wide program of martial activities, a sampling of evening entertainments, a lovely site, bounteous hospitality, and all the rough pleasantries of a traditional camping event.
HEAVY WEAPONS -- Come one, come all! Sommer Draw will host both spear and melee tournaments, featuring innovative as well as traditional formats, with prizes to be given out. Inspections and authorizations will begin promptly at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, with the tournaments starting around noon. Our site boasts fine fields for your favourite martial activity. The thundering hooves of the Mongolian Empire draw near! Join in their whirlwind of chaos to conquer the Knowne World. We invite you to display your prowess with bow and arrow, and plunder the day away. This will be a kingdom-level event to choose the new Kingdom of Atlantia Archery Champion.
It is a weekend-long event with archery, feasting, and a bardic circle.
The Championship will take place at the Baltimore Bowmen club. Enjoy Friday Night travellers’ fare to benefit the Bright Hills Youth Archery program. Saturday will include a continental breakfast, and there will be a dayboard provided to refuel between shoots. The day’s end will bring a sumptuous feast prepared by Duke Valharic, followed by a bardic circle to entertain and recount the day’s events: “No s*@#, there I was, just me and my yak . . .”
On June 20-22, AEthelmearc Spring Academy will be held at the Madison County Fairgrounds, Fairgrounds Road (no street number), Brookfield, NY 13314, in the Shire of Coppertree. This site is approximately 25 miles due south of Utica, NY.

Any and all Combat Approved Siege equipment will find a place in the Siege Battle on Saturday, June 21st.The heavy troops on all sides will be counting on the Siege Engineers to make an opening in that wall.

On behalf of meself an' me crew from the Shire of Owl's Nest, I be invitin' ye seaworthy populace to set sail with us Pirates of the Mediterranean. We be weighin' anchor from familiar waters sheltered by the forests of Pickett's Mill in Dallas, GA at the time of the third bell of the forenoon watch on the 21st day of June, bein' a Saturday. We be stoppin' at various ports in the Med to take on provisions, fresh water, trade goods with local merchants, an' soak up some of the local colour.
The Borders of Eskalya and Selviergard have both seen battles, and though the threat to test these borders has been subdued, the memories of those lost in battle have not. With these memories, comes the yearning to honor all those who have graced the war fields, and those who could not share this moment with us.
