Crown Tournament, by which Artemisia's line of succession is determined, shall be held at the Cache County Fairgrounds in Logan, Utah, on October 11, 2008, hosted by the Shire of Cote du Ciel.
This is a beautiful site that has a feast hall and kitchen, a manicured green area for fighting, an outdoor covered barbecue area, bathrooms, and a large indoor hall that can be used for running multiple erics simultaneously in the case of inclement weather. There are numerous trees on site, and the area is both spacious and relatively secluded.

Accompanied by bards from throughout An-Tir, Abbot Siôn of Dragons' Laire will teach a variety of dances over four hours. The Costumers Guild will sponsor a parade of costumes for those who wish to show off their finery.

Our event is themed on the battle of Agincourt that was fought in northern France as part of the Hundred Years' War. The battle was fought on a rainy Saint Crispin’s Day, in 1415 between the English and Welsh army of King Henry V and the French army of King Charles VI.
The many fights to be had throughout the day will sate Fighter and Fencers alike. For the fencers, your day will begin with a melee on an hourglass shaped field; you will later fight the Tavern Brawl as well as a Fencing Tourney. For the Heavy Fighters, you have many battles ahead of you, all with combat archery. The Heavy Tavern Brawl will take place in the afternoon, hand weapons only please.
Barony Marche of the Debatable Lands (Dorseyville, Pennsylvania)
The Central Region of Ansteorra is calling the Rapier Community to come for
an exciting day of classes from Marshalling, running a list, fighting
techniques, side sword, and many others.
Even if you are not a rapier fighter, The Center has beautiful grounds to
explore and plenty of activities for children as well. Your site fee
includes full admission to the Center and its grounds.
The Barony of Elfsea will be hosting a tavern for lunch to raise funds for
On the twenty-fifth day of October A.S. XLIII, King Darius IV and Queen Alethea will be choosing Their Heirs by right of arms.
The event site is a camp ground with acres of woods and a tranquil lake. The tournament will be held in a large grassy field lined with trees. A field adjacent to the tourney field has a large fire circle, an open-sided pavilion with fire hearth and another smaller grassy area. Privies are located throughout the site. Hot showers are available as well, near the list field. All buildings are wheelchair accessible, but the trail from the list field to the feast hall is very hilly and may not be easy for wheelchairs (but there is a road that can be used).

Take your best route to the section of South Grange Ave that sits between 26th and 33rd streets. Look for the SCA sign. There will be a big parking lot, so park there, then head into the building with the bright blue on the front. That is the Commons. Once you are inside the Commons, head to the right, past the mailboxes. When you reach the end of the mail boxes, take a left down that hallway and you will be on site! Look for the SCA signs once you have hit the right area of Grange.

Directions: Take your best route to I-10 west of I-65 to exit 17 South towards Dauphin Island. Follow the road until it dead-ends on the Island at the 3-way stop ( SCA signs will be posted ), take a left and follow to Ft. Ga ines.

The Act of Accord has been passed by parliament naming Edward, Duke of York as the rightful heir to the thrown. Queen Margaret is marching south with her Scottish recruits determined to protect her son's interests. Her hungry army has been promised unlimited plunder and the Shire residents face starvation. Who will Protect them? Who will Defend them? The townspeople offer a great prize to the champions who step forward!
Swiftly autumn is coming upon us, the forbearer of winter's chills. We must stock up our storehouses against the cold months ahead - the time for the Great Hunt is nigh!

TNT 14 -- Treaties Not Turks / The First Crusade Arrives in Constantinople. It's autumn of 1096 and we're in Constantinople, the capital of a mighty empire that considers itself the successor to Rome as the center of learning and culture. As the western endpoint of the Silk Road and other caravan routes, and a major seaport, it's also a major crossroads for commerce.
We invite one and all to travel to the lands of the Barony of the Eldern Hills for our twenty-eighth annual Samhain Celebration. Bring your best skills for our Thrown Weapons, Bardic, and Arts & Sciences Competitions, which will determine our newest titled champions. Our array of activities will delight both you and your children, including our first ever Youth Chivalric Class and Tournament. And don?t forget to bring treats for our traditional Mischief and Morsels activity on Saturday evening!
The Shire of Seawinds sends fair greetings to our friends, far and near. May your harvest be bountiful and your hearts be light, for soon the long nights will come. Dark foes, our ancient enemies, are rising against us, intent to do us harm. it is because of this that we are asking you brave warriors of Ansteorra to stand forth and answer the call to arms! Let the word go forth that the Shire of Sterlynge Vayle will be hosting a Sterlynge Schola on January 17, 2009 at the Trinity Memorial Church, 44 Main St, Binghamton NY.
The Site opens to the populace at 9:00am and closes at 6:00pm. We are planning classes from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., with a one-hour break for lunch at noon. Anyone found still lingering in the halls or classrooms after 6:00 p.m. may be pressed into service for site clean up.
