For several weeks, staff reporter Andy Zieminski of Gazette.net worked on a story about Atlantia's Barony of Storvik. The results were published recently, along with photos and video, on the Gazette's website.
The article discusses the SCA, especially the fighting aspect, and includes a number of interviews with baronial members such as harp player Kathleen Sobansky, who said "My mother is still hoping it’s a passing adolescent fantasy. Well, I’m 53 years old. It’s not a passing adolescent fantasy." |
