Iowa Digital Library celebrates 100,000th item with 13th century manuscript

A 13th century page from the workshop of William de Brailes was digitized and added to the Iowa Digital Library as its 100,000th item.
The original resides in a vault in the Special Collections Department of the University of Iowa Libraries and is one of the prize artifacts from its Medieval Manuscripts Collection. The page is from a copy of the Biblical book Macabees II. |
