Queen of England strips Knight of his title

HRM Elizabeth II, Queen of England, has stripped Robert Mugabe, President of Zimbabwe, of his knighthood in a move to protest the human rights abuses in his country.

Mugabe is the second in recent history to be removed from the Order of Chivalry in England. The late Nicolai Ceaucescu, former Romanian leader, was also stripped of his title in 1994.
