Archaeologists have reported that at least four statues have been stolen from a recently-discovered 13th century temple to Shiva near Bogra, Bangladesh.

The theft took place after an 18-foot-long tunnel was cut into the temple. Officials have requested that the site be declared "protected" to guard against more such incidents.
