Pennsylvania to Legalize Atlatl Deer Hunting

The State Game Commission of Pennsylvania is drafting regulations to allow hunters to use atlatls, wooden spear throwers first utilized by early man.
If the proposed regulations pass, the weapon/tool may become legal as early as January 2006. The atlatl is a "small wooden device used to propel a six-foot dart as fast as 80 MPH [129 km/hr]." |
