The Sporadic Verses, a series of satirical stories written about imaginary SCA folk, and published in the 1990s in two local newsletters, are offered online for all the world to see.

In the early 1990s, the Shire of Caer Galen (in Outlands) published several episodes of the Verses in its local newsletter, the Dorinda. In 1995, the Cheesecloth, the newsletter of the Canton of Whyt Whey, published several more episodes.

The Verses chronicle the travels of a man named (for now) Doomstalker, who wanders about looking for ways to get himself and others into trouble, and, with surprising success, finding those ways.
