Come on out to Cattle Raids the weekend of Oct 28 at Camp Daniel Morgan at Hard Labor Creek State Park in Rutledge GA. The Cows have taken over the Barony of Bryn Madoc and we are planning a day full of fun, silliness and of course - Cattle Raiding!

Bring your herd and see if you can protect them from the scoundrels! The group with the most cows at the end of the day wins... a fabulous prize!

There will be fighting including:"Where's the Beef?" battle, "Eat Mor Chickin" Battle, "Got Milk" Battle, the "Holy Cow" Battle and the running of the Bulls (knights vs the world.)

There will be classes of all kinds - mostly hands on next to the field.

There will be a cattle making workshop for those who want to "beef" up their herds.

There will be kids stuff.

There will be a Sweet Mead Competition sponsored by the Baroness.

There will be Cattle Court to be held in Valhalla - bring your grievences before court.

This is an event in the olde-tyme Bryn Madoc tradition - so much silliness, you'll fall out of your chair!

You might even get a glimpse of a few of the original Purple Papal Bulls - named for the "Bad" Popes.

The event site opens at 5 p.m. Eastern time on Friday and closes at 11 a.m. on Sunday. No pets allowed in the group camp area. Georgia State Parks' policy states that “consumption or use of alcoholic beverages or intoxicants is unlawful in any public-use area.”
