Prayers and Portraits: Unfolding the Netherlandish Diptych will be on display at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC, through February 4.
This exhibition brings together halves of numerous diptychs that are now dispersed and residing in distant collections, and these are presented alongside diptychs that have remained intact over the centuries. |
