Come enter the tourney run by Don Jean-Paul Justen Casse and Doña Marion del Oakes, which will decide the next King's and Queen's rapier champions.
There will be space for League of Rapier Academies challenges.
There will be space for pick-up bouts for everyone including those who haven't authorized yet. Loaner gear will be available.
Dance and drum at the Middle Eastern dance and drum courses.
There will be underground parking for the first 168 so come early to guarantee your space. A delicious day board will be provided.
Directions:
Note that MapQuest et al will direct you through Harvard Square, which is
quite difficult to navigate so I advise you to avoid it. The below
directions avoid Harvard Square.
Coming from the north on I-93:
Take exit 30.
At the end of the ramp turn LEFT onto Mystic Ave 0.6mi
Turn RIGHT (South) onto McGrath Hwy (SR-28) 1.0mi
Turn RIGHT onto Ramp 0.2mi
Turn RIGHT (West) onto Somerville Ave 0.4mi
Turn LEFT (South) onto Webster Ave 0.2mi
Bear RIGHT (South) onto Prospect St 0.3mi
Turn RIGHT (West) onto Cambridge St 0.6mi
To Park Turn LEFT onto Ellery St and the parking is half a block down on the
right
The main door is at 1640 Cambridge St, Cambridge, MA 02138, which is a half
block past the Ellery Street intersection.
Coming from the South or West on I-90:
I-90 exit 18 (LEFT Exit) Allston / Cambridge
Take RIGHT onto Cambridge St for 0.2 mi toward Cambridge / Somerville
Go over River St Bridge 87 yds
Road name changes to River St 0.2 mi
Turn LEFT (North) onto Putnam Ave 0.5 mi
Turn RIGHT (East) onto Massachusetts Ave 32 yds
Take an immediate Left onto Trowbridge St 0.1 mi
Turn LEFT (West) onto Harvard St 0.1 mi
Turn RIGHT (North) onto Prescott St 0.2 mi
Turn RIGHT (East) onto Cambridge St 0.2 mi
To Park Turn Right onto Ellery St and the parking is half a block down on
the right
The main door is at 1640 Cambridge St, Cambridge, MA 02138, which you will
have passed to get to Ellery St
To come by bus, take the 69 Bus, which stops almost in front of the door. To come by T, take the Red Line to Harvard and walk, which takes about 10-15 minutes. More info for the car-less is available at http://www.mbta.com/ . Just cross Harvard Yard and get onto Cambridge Street. In addition to the underground parking, we have permission to use the parking lot at the Cambridge Ellis School at 80 Trowbridge St, Cambridge, MA 02138, which is within easy walking distance. In addition, we will have permission to park in the resident permit only street parking places.

Site : The fee is $12 for members and $15 for nonmembers. For children aged
less than 18 the fee is $6. This will include underground parking places
for the first 168 and a day board for all. Please send reservations in
advance to insure enough food on the day board. Reservations must arrive by
January 6, 2007
