Boverton Castle in Llantwit Major, Vale of Glamorgan, Wales, is being auctioned starting at a mere UK£55,000. architects advise, however, that necessary renovation of the site could cost at least six figures.
The historic property comes with nearly an acre of land and a herd of grazing ponies. "We've also had quite a few calls from all sorts of people. People who are interested in old buildings, interested in investments and those interested in sheltering money in land and property," said Philip Thomas, who is handling the sale. |
