Four elevated in the West Kingdom

Viscount Richard de Camville and Viscountess Elisabeth Renee de Champagne reported that four subjects from the West Kingdom were scheduled for elevation to Peerage at Crown Tournament on June 23, 2007.

Sir Bjorn Jorsalfar of Bearhaven and Mistress Hilarie the Puppeteer were to be elevated to the Order of the Pelican. Ximón Martillo de Cordoba was also to be elevated as a Pelican, while Eyvindr Gunnarson was to sit vigil for Knighthood.

Congratulations!

Nota bene: Milica filed this story last week in future-tense, but I (Justin) got hit with a big pile of mundania and failed to get it on the wire until after the fact. For this I apologize; the fault is mine, not Milica's.

It was a beautiful thing. During Eyvindr's offer of the white belt, his knight, Duke Sir Uther Schiemann der Hunt and Duchess Cyneswith aet Caldhaefen both spoke and it was a very emotional moment! Huzzah to all the new peers!

To much rejoicing from the West Kingdom Needleworkers Guild, Iulitta Rowan of Aran was also elevated on this day to the Order of the Laurel for her exquisite and highly professional work in gold embroidery.
