Ireland's historic Hill of Tara has been added to the world's 100 most-endangered heritage sites due to plans to build a motorway in close proximity to the archaeological sites.
The builders are determined to continue construction on the road which will serve the needs of Dublin's growing population. Tara, the hill where Irish kings were historically crowned is considered the heart of Ireland. A global action has been organized to save the hill. |
