SCAdian family escapes fire in Ealdormere

On August 1, 2007, the home of Blair and Yvonne Wettlaufer, known in the SCA as Baron Brand Thorwaldsson and Baroness Briana, was destroyed by fire. While their Excellencies, their children and the family dog escaped unharmed, the house was reduced to ashes.
The house and its furnishings were covered by insurance, but unfortunately many keepsakes, including photographs, were lost.
