Southern Lakes Regional Fighter Practice and Barbeque

The air will be turning crisp and cool, the leaves may be changing, and the winter winds will be howling ere long, so- Y'all come on down and do some killin', grillin', and just plain chillin' at a regional practice on the southern end of the cities, fer a change!

The Time:
Saturday October 6 from 10 AM to oh dark whenever we quit
Folks are welcome to camp out Friday night if they wish, we have space available Please contact me beforehand to get a camping count.

We have a nice copse of woods with trails for woods battles, an open glade with a fire pit and plenty of wood, large front and back yard surrounded by trees and suitable for fighting or whatever, a pump that taps straight into ice cold well water, a garage which will be set up with tables for food, and there will be a portajohn on site. We also have a streetlight that we control by the side of the drive, so darkness may not be an issue. Oh, and something else you'll not find at many backyard practices: a park-sized swingset with two swings that will handle a full grown woman in armour with ease. I speak from experience. :-)

Bring your fightin' gear, projects to work on, meat or fish or what have you to grill, and chairs to sit in. If you'd like to bring a side or something to share, it would be appreciated. Fighting snacks and other side dishes and the implements, cups, and plates for the meal will be provided. Plus brownies. :-) Mmmm, brownnnies......:-) Gatorade and water will also be available.
