The good folk of Heronter invite everyone to join them October 10 - 12, 2008 for their 15th annual Harvest Raid! We are thrilled to host three Royal Championships! -- Heavy Weapons, Archery, & Thrown Weapons.
As is tradition, we are privileged to have access to the Lake
Chautauqua Lutheran Camp on Route 430 (no street address) in Bemus Point,
New York on beautiful Chautauqua Lake.
The site will open at 5pm Friday afternoon and closes at noon on
Robin in the greenwood is … and he wants us to join him. On May 10 we will return to the grounds of the Limerick Bowmen for a fair celebrating the flight of the arrow. (This year, no snow!)
Archery activities will include a roving range (including, we hope, a running deer), royal rounds, practice areas and novelty shoots.
We will also have thrown weapons and fencing.
There are both a hall and an outdoor shelter for those not shooting to gather to visit, game, or ply their crafts. Artisans are encouraged to bring projects to work on and share. (Bring tables and chairs). Merchants are most welcome (no charge above gate fees), with merchants of goods related to Archery, Thrown Weapons and the Fence given preference if space becomes an issue.

The South will rise again! This time the challenge is to HAVE FUN! The first annual Southern Atlantian Archery Day (SAAD) will be a weekend filled with archery, atlatl and thrown weapons stations.
In keeping with the "Southern" traditions, we will have a wide variety of
targets for your shooting and throwing pleasure in the very best
tongue-in-cheek-Southern style.
Remember, "Bubba" is both a Southern and Period name! The stations will

Come to picturesque Quintavia for a Spring Day of bards, dancing, fencing, thrown weapons, feasting and fun!
Bards come sing a song or tell a tale we will have a day of sharing and practice for the evenings festivities. Dancers come and twirl around the beautiful tavern fair. Those who prefer to throw things, like axes and the like will have space outside for thrown weapons competition. Also plenty of room for gaming! Bring your favorite period games and teach us how to play! There will also be a ‘serf’ auction where you can bid to have your own personal servant for the feast in the evening.
This event includes heavy fighting, spear throwing and rapier. This being a prize tourney, there will of course be a number of prizes for each event. Prize details to be announced at a later date. Furthermore, two sumptuous soups will be provided, one vegetarian, one not; plus hot or cold drinks, depending on the weather.

In the name of Baron Jehan, all gentles are invited to attend the Archery and Thrown Weapons Competitions for the Barony of Carolingia on Sunday, July 9, 2006. During the day, the mighty archers and weapons throwers of Carolingia will compete to choose the best among them for the Baron's Champion.
The event will be on the Town Fields of Bedford, MA, located on Mudge Way (no
street number).
Come to Axes & Ales VIII, hosted by the Shire of Sterlynge Vayle! We will be once again at Camp Sertoma, Johnson Road (no number listed), Kirkwood, NY.
The gates will open at 6 pm on April 28, and anyone staying after noon
on April 30, 2006, will be assumed to be helping with the clean-up. The
site is Wet, but period containers are requested, and you must remove
all empties from site. Open flames are permitted at Feast, but please no
NASMA is an event dedicated to teaching and learning in all the martial arts except armored and rapier - so it's all about archery, thrown weapons, equestrian, and seige weapons.
The first NASMA will be held on Sunday, Sept 4, 2005, at the
Trempeleau County Fairgrounds in Galesville, WI. (NASMA is hosted
the Autumn Rose event held at that site on Friday and Saturday, Sept
