Gulf Wars is a week long event traditionally between the Kingdom of Ansteorra and Kingdom of Trimaris. It takes place at Kings Arrow Ranch in Lumberton, Mississippi, and is hosted by the Kingdom of Gleann Abhann.
Attendance is currently around four thousand. It attracts a temporary community of people from throughout the known world, all willing to suspend life in the 21st Century for a week and pretend they are living before the year 1600.
A slide show showcasing the glories of the Kingdom of Gleann Abhann has been created by THL Rose Eriksdottir using photos taken by THL Barbara Staring. The slideshow is accompanied by rousing music.
A 16th play entitled Cluijte van Plaijerwater was presented recently at the Holy Pail III event in the Kingdom of Gleann Abhann. Lady Danielle captured the performance in a photo album.
HE Baroness Alina nic an Bhaird reports that Their Excellencies Viscount Sir William fitz Hugh de Cambria and Viscountess Onora inghean mhic Cathain are the new Prince and Princess of Gleann Abhann.
Bring your War Doors, Spears and other WAR equipment and begin preparing for WAR. We will be working on such things as Shield Wall Tactics, Spears and other Tactics used at WAR.
