Boelter) has passed away on June 25, 2008, of a heart attack while driving his truck near his home in Nashville, TN. His wife was able to get control of the vehicle and pull over.

In the SCA, he was one of the early members and was the founder of the Great Dark Horde. Asprin, born in 1946, died peacefully on May 22 at his home.
