SCAtoday.net - Deeds of Valor and Renown

Has someone in the Current Middle Ages done an outstanding good deed for you lately? Use this forum to publicly thank them for their courtesy. We all are expected to behave honorably and courteously; this forum is, rather, for those times when someone truly goes "above and beyond" the standard of a noble Lord or Lady of these Current Middle Ages. Deeds that impact your modern-world life — for example, if someone came to pick you up at 4:00 a.m. when your car died along a lonely highway — are welcome, too.

Many Thanks to the Chroniclers of the Oaken Region

I would like to thank all the wonderful Chroniclers of the Oaken Region of the Middle Kingdom for all the work they have done.

Being a Chronicler is often a thankless, and over-looked position. However, it is by the efforts of the Chroniclers that our wonderful history as an organisation is recorded. Without the Chroniclers, we would not have much, if any, history of how the SCA has grown.

Tir Righ's Wonderful ban-Fhlaith

Greetings,

I am posting this so that I may share with all of you how wonderful her Highness Bernadette is.

This evening, knowing that Crian and I would be unable to attend the New Year's party due to his coming down with a cold, she dropped by our home on her way to the party. This in and of itself was a delightful surprise and made me appreciate even more this wonderful lady who has been given this Principality to care for. But then she told me how much she appreciated my efforts on her behalf in helping her get a wardrobe befitting her station and she presented me with a beautiful viscounty/laurel circlet made by Angantyr Hjalmsmithr.
