It is with great pleasure that I would hereby like to announce that Knights Crossing will be hosting a workshop on medieval pharmaceuticals and herbs on the weekend of May 30-June 1. Simona Valentini di Piero will be teaching how to make basic salves, essential oils and creams from primary source recipes; enjoy a walk through the fields and forest in which we will learn to identify various useful plants in their natural habitat. Learn about the equipment used and the primary sources that we have on this subject. There will be a small fee for materials and for food for the weekend, but dinner will be Potluck.

Once again it is time to assemble in the Aarnimets Academy to share
one's knowledge of arts and sciences. This event focuses specially on
classes and different kinds of workshops.
The events open on Friday at 6 p.m. and closes on Sunday at 1 p.m.

It is yet again the cold and dark time of the year when you wish to simply curl up on a couch with a cup of something hot. But low 'n behold, there is also a better way to enjoy wintertime. Let us invite you to the Canton of Unikankare to celebrate the traditional Midwinter Feast, to be held at Ahtela youth camping centre in Sauvo (street address Ahtelantie 21), near Turku, Finland.
