Palestine Liberation Organization officials said Monday they are willing to move forward with the two-state solution as proposed by U.S. President George W. Bush at the Annapolis summit, regardless of the situation in Gaza.

What a difference a president makes. One day the president of the United States is among the most despised leaders in the Arab world, his effigy is burned and hanged by crowds chanting slogans against him, the next day a new president is hailed as Saladin, one of the greatest Arab heroes.

The extremist al-Qaida affiliate Lashkar-e-Taiba, or Let, has been named as the perpetrator of the recent horrific Mumbai attacks, according to U.S. officials. "This was definitely a LeT operation. Theres no doubt about it," said a former senior CIA official with close knowledge of the dossier.

Al-Hayat al-Jadeeda (WEST BANK): Israel Bans Libyan Ship From Gaza – Israeli warships prevented a Libyan boat carrying humanitarian aid for the Gaza Strip from entering the regional waters, which are under an Israeli blockade, and forced it to return to al-Areesh shores, 40 kilometers from Gaza.
